In the summer of 2013 the Saint Louis University Law School moved from its location on the University Campus to downtown St Louis. St Louis businessman, Joe H. Scott Sr. donated the building to the University in 2004. The building is located next door to the Civil Courts and within walking distance of the Thomas F Eagleton US Courthouse. The 11 story building was designed by the Lawrence Group Architects. Clayco Inc. was secured to perform the construction services. When St. Charles Acoustics was selected to install the ceilings on the project, the team at Ceiling Supply was ready to help make the former office space into a state of the art learning facility. The Armstrong Ultima Open Plan Ceilings were used to give a modern look to the open study areas, while still maintain the acoustical features needed for one of the Nation’s top Law School programs. To accentuate the modern feel of the space, Armstrong Woodworks were used to create a clean organized space using rich, natural FSC-certified Cherry panels. The perforations were set on a diagonal, and also provided extra acoustics for the large areas. Armstrong Metalworks Vector Effects were used in the classroom and meeting rooms to provide the classic wood look but with the acoustical features of a traditional ceiling tile. Ceiling Supply relied on our 45 years of experience to help the make an old office building into one of the top Law Schools in the country.
